Product Description

The welded pipe unit is a type of equipment used for producing welded steel pipes. It consists of multiple working parts, including the steel strip feeding part, welding part, cooling part, and cutting part. The steel strip feeding section feeds the steel strip into the unit, the welding section welds the steel strip, the cooling section cools the welded steel pipe, and the cutting section cuts the cooled steel pipe into the required length.

The welding pipe unit usually adopts high-frequency induction welding technology, which heats the steel strip to the welding temperature through high-frequency current and applies a certain pressure to weld the steel strips together. After welding, the steel pipe undergoes cooling to ensure welding quality. Finally, the cutting section cuts the steel pipe into the required length to complete the entire production process.

The welded pipe unit has the advantages of high production efficiency, good welding quality, and easy operation. It is widely used in industries such as construction, bridges, petroleum, and chemical engineering, and is used to produce various specifications of welded steel pipes.

Production process flow

Step 1: Un-coiler

Function: support rolled plate and strip tension for erw pipe mill production line, by the frame, main shaft, increases of drum, brake.

There are 3 types: pneumatic, hydraulic and manual.

Step 2: Shear & butt-welding

Function: Shear the end of each strip coil, then welding them together, so that pipe making welding machine line can be continue production.

2 Types: Automatic & manual

Step 3: Vertical Accumulator

Function: storage strip to keep continue production for the machine to make metel tube.

Type: Vertical

Advantage: easy to operation, low investment. special for small size and light wall pipe

Disadvantage: less storage capacity, crease.

Step 4: Horizontal Accumulator

Function: storage strip to keep continue production for the Round Square Pipe Making Machine Production Line.
Type: Horizontal
Advantage: Large capacity.
Disadvantage: more expensive than vertical type
