The seamless pipe unit, also known as the seamless steel pipe production line, is a professional equipment used for producing seamless steel pipes. Seamless pipe is a type of circular, square, and rectangular steel with no joints in its cross-section. Therefore, it is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, medical, food, light industry, mechanical instruments, etc. for conveying pipelines, mechanical parts, and large equipment.
The seamless pipe unit mainly consists of equipment such as piercing machine, rolling machine, straightening machine, cutting machine, etc. A piercing machine is a device that punches solid round steel into tubes, while a tube rolling machine is a device that further rolls the tubes into the required size and wall thickness. Straightening machines are used to straighten rolled steel pipes, while cutting machines cut the straightened steel pipes into the required length.
The working principle of seamless pipe mill is mainly to use the high temperature and high pressure of the piercing machine to pierce solid round steel, and then roll it into seamless steel pipes of the required size and wall thickness through the pipe rolling machine. The entire process does not require welding, so the produced steel pipes have high strength and stable quality, and are widely used in various industries.
