The seamless pipe unit, also called the seamless steel pipe production line, is specialized equipment for crafting seamless steel pipes. These pipes, available in circular, square, and rectangular shapes, are characterized by their joint-free cross-sections. Thus, they are prominently utilized in petroleum, chemical, medical, food, light industry, and mechanical sectors for transporting pipelines, constructing mechanical parts, and assembling large equipment.
Our seamless pipe unit comprises several key machines, including a piercing machine, rolling machine, straightening machine, and cutting machine. The piercing machine is responsible for transforming solid round steel into tubes, while the tube rolling machine refines these tubes to achieve the desired size and wall thickness. Straightening machines ensure the steel pipes are perfectly straight, and cutting machines trim them to the specified length.
The seamless pipe mill operates by utilizing the high temperature and pressure of the piercing machine to transform solid round steel into tubes, which are then precision-rolled by the pipe rolling machine into seamless steel pipes of specific sizes and wall thicknesses. This process is entirely weld-free, resulting in steel pipes with exceptional strength and consistent quality, ideal for diverse industrial applications.
